About the role
Lead multidisciplinary MEP delivery on commercial and high-rise projects, from design coordination through commissioning.
The MEP Project Engineer takes ownership of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and firefighting packages on assigned projects, coordinating design intent, procurement, site execution and commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing and firefighting packages across the project
- Review design drawings and identify clashes before site execution
- Manage material approvals, subcontractor progress and procurement schedules
- Chair technical meetings with consultants and clients
- Oversee testing, commissioning and project handover documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5 to 10 years of MEP project experience including high-rise or commercial buildings
- Strong knowledge of Qatar construction standards and authority approvals
- Experience with commissioning and handing over complete MEP systems
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
